Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association
The Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) is a non-profit organization consisted of PV enterprises, scientific & research institutes and other relevant industrial organizations in Asian countries and regions under the principle of voluntary enrollment. Since its official launch held in Singapore in 2011, APVIA has devoted itself to promoting the development of PV industry worldwide, especially in Asia, including China, India, as well as those fast-growing solar markets in Southeast and West Asia. APVIA has attracted industrial associations, research institutes, PV companies from different countries and regions in Asia, such as China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), Japan, India, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Turkey, Saudi Arab, etc.
APVIA hopes to provide constructive suggestions to the global PV policy-making and to drive innovation in solar technology and business model through the networks consisted of industrial associations, enterprises, research institutes as well as media. APVIA would spare no effort to share the growth experience and best practice of the Asian solar industry and actively propel the development of the emerging markets of Southeast Asia and West Asia, as well as the African and Latin American markets.
